Canadian deathcore unit FLESH PRISON is proud to announce the second single “Deathbed Messiah” taken from its upcoming self-titled EP, now streaming via Slam Worldwide.
“A relentless assault from start to finish, ‘Deathbed Messiah’ exemplifies what each heavy music connoisseur looks for and enjoys: Fast blast beats, crushing breakdowns and aggressive lyrics with substance,” says bassist Matt Andrews. “This is as in your face as you can get. FLESH PRISON is here to fuck your entire day up.”
Produced, mixed and mastered by Andrews (most known for being Knocked Loose’s sound guy), the band’s self-titled EP also features additional production from Bobby Crow (Signs of the Swarm) and the band’s Jesse McKay.
If you thought Canada was all maple syrup, politeness, and Trailer Park Boys reruns, FLESH PRISON are here to remind you that the Great White North is also home to some of the most disgustingly heavy deathcore in existence.
Their debut single, “No Peace,” premiered last month via Slam Worldwide, and it’s another absolute skull-crusher—like getting hit in the face with a bag of frozen poutine bricks.
FLESH PRISON’s debut self-titled EP is dropping on all major platforms Feb. 27 via an independent release. No frills, no trends, just pure, unfiltered deathcore violence straight from the frigid depths of Ontario.
