My Chemical Romance Sparks Electric Reactions at Second Brooklyn Reunion Date

My Chemical Romance serves as nostalgia for fans old and new and hold an emotional piece of their hearts. The band brought a refreshed, energetic performance at their second sold-out Barclays Center show on September 11, 2022.

To say seeing and hearing the crowd screaming every single song together was chilling is an understatement. Bands all over the world have loyal followings, but there is truly something special about the loyalty of My Chemical Romance fans even after the band's prior hiatus/retirement. You could see the joy in every member's face (but especially singer Gerard Way's) when they looked out at the crowd and saw the love from every soul there.

The setlist choices spanned throughout the career and included hits from throughout their career, but they leaned very heavily into "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" and "The Black Parade" songs. Everyone sang notable tracks like "Welcome to the Black Parade", "Mama", "Thank You for the Venom", and "Helena" without missing a beat and word, and it was cool to be a part of. The band members' energy and excitement to play was as infectious as their music, and it is great to have them back in the scene.
