Rottweiler Records have announced another exciting new addition to their diverse roster of extreme metal talent with a powerful, positive message. Refiner, hailing from the west coast of Canada, is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist, composer and lyricist Christopher Adam and his first release for Rottweiler comes in the form of the Return To Dust EP. Fusing brutal metalcore, electronics and ambience with Adam’s unique creative approach, opening title track ‘Return To Dust’ is an uplifting call to shed the unwanted pressures and complications of life and return to the essential simplicity of existence. The heavyweight, muscular riffing blends and contrasts with the irresistible melodies to create something effective and life affirming. Meanwhile second song, ‘Not The End’ is a hard hitting demand for resilience, perseverance and resistance; the punchy rhythms and overpowering vocals urging the listener to face the challenges of life head on, to have courage and fight through the adversities that confront us all. Instrumental versions of the two tracks will also be available, only from the Rottweiler Records Bandcamp page.

The track ‘Return To Dust’ will be available seven days before the official release of this EP, appearing exclusively for one week on For The Rock’s eighth community driven metal and rock compilation album, Wise As Serpents & Innocent As Doves, from February 21st. The compilation will be available at https://fortherock.bandcamp.com/

The full Return To Dust EP will then be available from Rottweiler Records from February 28th. Another Refiner EP will follow in the summer before a full length label debut later in the year. Every track that Refiner unleash will be accompanied by a video – and you can see the explosive visual representation of ‘Return To Dust’ here
