Only Flesh is back, baby! After seven years since their last album, "From The Gutter To The Grave," the shock rock, sleaze, industrial rock group has made their triumphant return. Their brand-new album, "Cells Out," was released on July 27, 2018 via Rotten Records. The new album features 11 tracks total, and a couple of remixes of songs from their previous album, "From The Gutter To The Grave" and a few re-recorded songs from their album, "Audiolovesludge." They even included a cover of Rick James' hit song, "Super Freak." Which, all due respect, is a perfect cover for this band.
While their previous albums flowed from start to finish, this album's songs each stand on their own. This album also features a nearly two hours worth of music videos, live performances, behind-the-scenes footage and, of course, suspensions.
Only Flesh is touring this summer, catch them on tour, and if you haven't heard of these guys yet, check them out. Their show is very entertaining, and their music for me is best described as the love child of Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. Their live show features live body suspensions, go-go dancers and many other freak show like aspects. They always work hard to outdo themselves. While hanging on flesh hooks is a normal occurrence, they've also done much more at their shows. Such as, but not limited to, nailing their own lead singer to a crucifix.
